Morningbridge Limitada was established by Peter Lowe (property development) and Christopher Eddis (hotel finance and investment).
Since formation in Lisbon in 2013, Morningbridge was steadily reinforced by a local and international team of experienced professionals with complementary skills to develop and operate the businesses it created.

Joint Managing Director
Peter co-founded Morningbridge Lda., the development arm of our hotel and real estate business in Portugal in 2013. Prior to that, Peter ran a successful property development and investment company primarily in the UK for over 30 years. He has extensive experience in investing, developing and selling residential and commercial projects accross the UK, Portugal and Central Europe.
When not working, Peter’s interests lie in travel, sailing, family, gastronomy and good wine - not necessarily in that order.

Chris co-founded Morningbridge Limitada with Peter in 2013, and established Bomporto Hotels soon after in order to operate the beginning of a boutique hotel business in Portugal. Prior to this, Chris’ experience spanned 30 years of co-investment, principally in the hospitality and real estate sector, after beginning his career with Goldman Sachs investment banking in London, Hong Kong and New York. Chris spent 5 years on the board of Six Senses including as CFO.
Apart from a professional and personal passion for hotels, Chris loves music and outdoor pursuits including cycling.

Finance Director
Susana joined Bomporto Hotels as one of its first employees in 2017, with the opening of the Lumiares Hotel, armed with an economics degree from Nova Business School in Lisbon and 15 years of hotel finance experience with hotels in Lisbon and Braga. Susana became Finance Director for the Group, and shareholder, when it expanded from its first boutique hotel in Lisbon. Susana oversees all finance and HR functions of the Bomporto Group across all of its hotels and central head office.
In her spare time, Susana is fanatical about pilates, reading, exploration and family.

Mark has partnered with Chris in all co-investment business since 1998, commencing with partnership in Mornington Capital Limited, a UK based international hotel and real estate advisory co-investment firm. Mark’s prior experience has included real estate, chartered surveying, agriculture and forensic analysis.
Mark’s extra-curricular interests include farming, outdoor pursuits and literature.

When not engaged with Morningbridge, Ceri is an avid traveller and explorer, and a dedicated historian.

Before joining Bomporto Hotels as co-founding member, Federica worked for Curious Hotels in Paris, London, Amsterdam and the Cotswolds. Federica brings an expertise of transformational management to the group, from pre-opening to special situations.

Nathalie is a Portuguese national who grew up in South Africa before moving to Portugal in 2016. Nathalie's background spans 15 years in all aspects of the Real Estate Industry with experience in Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Italy, Cape Verde and South Africa.
Nathalie has specialized in assisting clients with various Immigration-by-Investment decisions. In Portugal alone, she has helped over 100 families with their investment options in Portugal, roughly 50% of which with Morningbridge.
Apart from her family and career, Nathalie's interests include travelling, languages and culture and gastronomy.
